RID – gentle pumping for live fish.
Our focus is simple: to move smolt as gently as possible, without unnecessary stress or injury.
About RID as.
RID as. (formerly POLS Norge) was founded on 1 March 2001 as the agent for the Icelandic company POLS, which made scales, graders and automatic packing scales for the fishing industry.
POLS was the first company in the world to develop scales that work on moving vessels, and was later acquired by the Icelandic company Marel. POLS Norge changed its name to RID as. and has been engaged in a range of development work.
